Arrival in Arusha and Relaxation

Upon arrival at Arusha, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative from Tanzania Classic Tours and transferred to your lodge. Nestled beneath the slopes of Mount Meru, Arusha serves as the gateway to Tanzania’s renowned northern safari circuit. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the lodge, enjoy the surrounding scenery, and prepare for the exciting safari ahead. In the evening, your guide will provide a safari briefing and answer any questions about the journey.

Tarngire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, a beautiful wildlife sanctuary famous for its giant baobab trees and large elephant populations. As you explore the park, you will discover a landscape of open savannah, seasonal wetlands, and the Tarangire River, which attracts a wide variety of wildlife throughout the year. Enjoy a full day game drive searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and numerous bird species. The park offers excellent opportunities for photography and wildlife viewing in a less crowded setting. After a picnic lunch and afternoon game drive, proceed to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Serengeti National Park. The journey takes you through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands, offering breathtaking views before descending into the vast Serengeti plains. Along the way, wildlife sightings become increasingly common as you enter one of Africa’s most celebrated safari destinations. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of the Great Migration and the incredible wildlife that inhabits the park. Depending on the season, you may encounter large herds of wildebeests and zebras moving across the plains, accompanied by predators such as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and leopards. The endless landscapes and abundant wildlife create an unforgettable first impression of the Serengeti.

Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti and following the movements of the Great Migration. Your guide will take you to the areas where wildlife activity is most concentrated, maximizing your chances of witnessing remarkable wildlife encounters and migration activity. Watch thousands of wildebeests and zebras spread across the plains while predators closely monitor the herds. Throughout the day, you may also encounter elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, gazelles, and many other species that call the Serengeti home. With its dramatic scenery and extraordinary wildlife, a full day in the Serengeti offers some of the most rewarding safari experiences in Africa.

Ngorongoro Crater- Deoarture

After an early breakfast, depart the Serengeti and travel to the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the crater for a game drive within one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders. The crater floor supports an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, making it one of the best places in Tanzania to spot a variety of animals in a single day. During your exploration, you may encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, zebras, wildebeests, and the rare black rhino. After enjoying a picnic lunch surrounded by spectacular scenery, ascend the crater and begin the drive back to Arusha or transfer directly to the airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your unforgettable Serengeti Migration Tour.
