Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Known for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers some of the best wildlife viewing in northern Tanzania. Explore the park’s diverse landscapes while searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, antelopes, and numerous bird species. The Tarangire River attracts wildlife throughout the year, providing excellent opportunities for close wildlife encounters and photography. After a picnic lunch and an afternoon game drive, proceed to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, drive to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater and descend approximately 600 meters to the crater floor for a full-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations and supports an extraordinary concentration of animals within its ancient volcanic walls. Spend the day exploring the crater’s grasslands, forests, and lake areas while searching for lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, wildebeests, zebras, and the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch in this breathtaking natural setting before continuing your wildlife exploration throughout the afternoon.

Lake Manyara National Park- Departure

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive. Located beneath the dramatic Great Rift Valley escarpment, the park is famous for its scenic beauty, lush groundwater forest, large baboon troops, diverse birdlife, and seasonal flamingo populations. Explore the park while searching for elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, buffaloes, monkeys, and other wildlife that inhabit its varied ecosystems. After lunch, begin the drive back to Arusha, bringing your memorable Tanzania Lodge Safari to an end.
