Upon arrival in Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. This day is reserved for relaxation after your journey and preparation for the exciting safari ahead. You may enjoy the peaceful environment of Arusha, with views of Mount Meru. Your Tanzania Classic Tours professional Safari guide will brief you about the safari program and what to expect in the coming days.

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast your Tanzania Classic Tours Professional Safari Guide will drive you to Tarangire National Park, a park famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive through its diverse landscapes, including open savannah, seasonal swamps, and the Tarangire River. You will have the opportunity to spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a wide variety of bird species. The river attracts many animals, especially during the dry season, making it an excellent location for wildlife viewing.

Drive to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, begin your journey toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park, passing through the beautiful highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy scenic views along the way before arriving in the central Serengeti, known for its year-round wildlife concentration. An afternoon game drive introduces you to the endless plains, where you may encounter lions, leopards, cheetahs, and large herds of herbivores.

Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Spend a full day exploring the rich wildlife of central Serengeti National Park. The region is one of the best places to spot predators due to the abundance of prey animals. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, tracking lions resting under acacia trees, cheetahs scanning the plains, and leopards hidden in riverine forests. The open savannah offers excellent opportunities for photography and unforgettable wildlife encounters throughout the day.

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, depart the Serengeti and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular game drive. Descend into this natural wonder, often referred to as one of the best wildlife viewing areas in Africa. Inside the crater, you can spot a high concentration of animals, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and the rare black rhino. The diverse habitats—grasslands, forests, and soda lakes—support an incredible variety of wildlife in a relatively small area. A picnic lunch will be served in the crater followed by short game drive and later on drive to your lodge in Karatu.

Flight to Zanzibar

After breakfast, transfer to Arusha airport for your domestic flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, you will be met by Tanzania Classic Tours representative and transferred to your beach hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing by the ocean and enjoying the tropical atmosphere of Zanzibar.
