Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative from Tanzania Classic Tours and transferred to Arusha. The rest of the day is dedicated to relaxation after your international journey, giving you time to settle in and prepare for the exciting safari ahead. Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your Tanzania Classic Tours professional driver guide will pick you up and begin the journey toward Tarangire National Park, a park famous for its impressive elephant herds and iconic baobab-dotted landscapes. As you explore the park during the game drive, you may encounter giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and several antelope species grazing across the savannah. Predators such as lions are also commonly seen in the park. The Tarangire River attracts many animals, making this area particularly rewarding for wildlife viewing.

Drive to Southern Serengeti
After breakfast, your Tanzania Classic Tours professional driver guide will guide you toward the southern plains of Serengeti National Park, particularly the wildlife-rich Ndutu region. This area becomes the center of activity during the calving season when vast herds of wildebeests and zebras gather across the open grasslands. The journey offers spectacular scenery as the landscape opens into endless plains filled with wildlife. During this time of year, thousands of newborn calves can often be seen standing and running shortly after birth while predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas closely follow the herds.

Today you will spend a full day exploring the incredible plains of Ndutu with your Tanzania Classic Tours professional driver guide. The abundance of newborn calves attracts numerous predators, making this area one of the best locations to observe hunting behavior and predator-prey interactions.
