Arrival and Relaxation

Upon arrival at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, spend the rest of the day at leisure relaxing after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a short walk along the beach or explore nearby areas while enjoying the refreshing ocean breeze and beautiful tropical surroundings.

Stone Town Tour & Boat Trip to Changuu Island

After breakfast, depart for a guided tour of Stone Town, the historic heart of Zanzibar and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk through the narrow streets filled with centuries-old buildings, intricately carved wooden doors, lively markets, and cultural landmarks that reflect the island’s rich Arab, Persian, Indian, and European influences. Later, take a short boat ride to Changuu Island, also known as Prison Island. The island is famous for its population of giant Aldabra tortoises, some of which are over a hundred years old. You will also enjoy the beautiful ocean views and the peaceful atmosphere of the island before returning to Stone Town.

Jozani Forest & Cultural Visit

After breakfast, travel to Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park, the only national park on the island and home to the rare Zanzibar Red Colobus monkeys. During the guided walk through the forest, you will observe these unique monkeys and learn about the diverse plant species and wildlife found in this tropical ecosystem. After the forest tour, visit a local village to learn about traditional Zanzibar culture, daily life, and local crafts. This visit offers a wonderful opportunity to interact with local people and gain deeper insight into the island’s heritage.

Spice Tour & Transfer to Pwani Mchangani Beach

After breakfast, depart for a guided spice tour at one of Zanzibar’s famous spice farms. During the visit, you will see, smell, and taste a variety of spices such as cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and tropical fruits. Zanzibar has long been known as the “Spice Island,” and this tour offers a fascinating introduction to its agricultural heritage. Later, continue your journey to the beautiful beach of Pwani Mchangani on the northeast coast of the island.
