Arrival in Arusha and Relaxation

Upon arrival at Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your lodge for relaxation after your international flight. Enjoy a peaceful evening preparing for the safari adventure ahead while surrounded by beautiful gardens and scenic views.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. The park is famous for its giant baobab trees, golden landscapes, and large elephant herds. During the safari, you may spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, ostriches, and many antelope species moving across the savannah. A picnic lunch will be served during the game drive before continuing with afternoon wildlife viewing.

Drive to Central Serengeti

After breakfast, depart toward Serengeti National Park through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy breathtaking landscapes and wildlife viewing along the journey as you enter the endless Serengeti plains. Central Serengeti is well known for year-round wildlife concentration and predator sightings. During the en-route game drive, you may encounter lion prides, elephants, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, leopards, and large herds of wildebeest.

Drive to Northern Serengeti

After breakfast, continue your safari toward Northern Serengeti with wildlife viewing along the route. As you travel north, the landscapes gradually change into rolling hills and river ecosystems surrounding the Mara River area. Along the journey, you may spot migration herds, predators, elephants, giraffes, and beautiful Serengeti scenery.

Full Day in Northern Serengeti

Spend the entire day exploring the Mara River region searching for dramatic wildebeest river crossing moments. Thousands of wildebeest and zebras gather along the riverbanks before attempting dangerous crossings while crocodiles wait below. This region also offers excellent opportunities to spot lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, hyenas, and leopards while enjoying breathtaking Northern Serengeti landscapes and unforgettable wildlife photography moments.

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning game drive in Central Serengeti before departing toward the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands. Along the way, continue spotting wildlife across the plains while enjoying spectacular landscapes and Maasai cultural scenery before arriving at your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater- Departure

After an early breakfast, descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive inside the crater floor. The crater offers one of the best wildlife viewing experiences in Africa with opportunities to spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, flamingos, zebras, hyenas, and the rare black rhino. A picnic lunch will be served inside the crater before driving back to Arusha or transferring directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure.

Mara Heritage Camp (Kogatende)

The Heritage Mara Camp in Kogatende is about 20 minutes from the Mara River, on the outskirts of the Northern Serengeti zone. It’s a fantastic site to see herds of wildebeest cross the river. Even so, it’s far enough away from the main road to allow for remote game viewing. The camp is situated on a hill, surrounded by huge evergreen trees, with sweeping views of the Northern Serengeti. The camp is open from July to November, when millions of wildebeest migrate across the Northern Serengeti, with the goal of crossing the Mara River. The best time to visit this camp is in July and stay until the middle of November.

Heritage Luxury Camp- Central Serengeti

This is a high-end, small bush camp in the heart of the Serengeti National Park that aims to provide visitors with a real wild experience. It’s a few kilometers north of Seronera’s wildlife reserve, which offers the good permanent game. There are 12 tents in all. It is the most luxurious and undoubtedly the smartest resort in Serengeti. The furniture and accessories have been selected for their opulent appearance and modern safari style. The camp is set on the Eastern side of the Ngorongoro Crater’s rim close to the Crater lodge. Just inside the park boundaries our location permits early game drives down to the crater leaving you almost alone to discover this World Heritage Site. Up to 25.000 animals call the crater their home except the Maasai Giraffes who cannot cope with the steep slopes of the crater. The main attraction, and also the most elusive are the 23 Black Rhinoceroses that live inside the crater, maybe the one and only chance to see them in the wild.
