Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your lodge in Arusha, located near the peaceful shores of Lake Duluti. This day is set aside for relaxation after your international flight. You may take a gentle walk around the lodge, enjoy the natural forest surroundings, or simply rest while preparing for your safari adventure. Later in the evening, your Tanzania Classic Tours professional safari guide will provide a detailed safari briefing, explaining the journey ahead, wildlife expectations, and travel logistics.

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. This park is famous for its large elephant populations and ancient baobab trees that dominate the landscape. Expect to see elephants in large family groups, giraffes browsing acacia trees, zebras, wildebeests, and predators such as lions and occasionally leopards.
