Saadani National Park Information There is only one site in East Africa where the beach joins the jungle. It is none other than Tanzania’s Saadani National Park. The national park’s protected regions are bordered by magnificent sandy beaches with palm trees and spectacular views of the Indian Ocean’s turquoise sea. As a result, if you’re sunbathing on the beach, an elephant or other animal may pass by to drink water. Since the 1960s, this unusual location has been protected as a game reserve. It was later enlarged in 2002 to encompass twice the previous area. Prior to the late 1990s, the reserve was heavily exploited by poachers, but in recent years, due to a stepped-up crackdown on poachers, the reserve has experienced a significant improvement. This area is currently thriving with beautiful green trees and is Tanzania Safari Tours’ most appealing destination.
