Arrival in Arusha and Relaxation

Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your lodge for the start of your safari journey. This day is dedicated to relaxation after your international flight, allowing you to settle in and enjoy the calm surroundings. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and views of Mount Meru, you can unwind, refresh, and prepare for the exciting safari days ahead.

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart Arusha and travel to Tarangire for your first thrilling game drive. The park is famous for its large elephant herds, majestic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. As you explore the open landscapes, you may encounter lions resting in the shade, giraffes browsing acacia trees, and herds of zebras and wildebeest moving across the plains. In the late afternoon, continue to your lodge where you can relax while overlooking the stunning wilderness.

Today you will travel to Lake Manyara for a scenic game drive through one of Tanzania’s most diverse parks. As you drive through the park, keep an eye out for elephants, hippos, playful monkeys, and a wide variety of birdlife that thrives around the lake. Later in the day, ascend the scenic highlands of Ngorongoro where cooler air and beautiful views welcome you to your lodge.

After breakfast, begin your journey toward the legendary Serengeti. The drive itself offers spectacular scenery and opportunities to spot wildlife along the way. Morning Game Drive in Serengeti National Park and Drive to Ngorongoro Highlands

Begin the day with a morning game drive in the Serengeti when wildlife is often most active. After the game drive, depart the Serengeti and travel toward the beautiful Ngorongoro Highlands, enjoying scenic views along the way. Upon arrival, settle into your lodge surrounded by lush greenery and peaceful landscapes.

Ngorongoro Crater and back to Arusha

After breakfast, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive on the crater floor. The dramatic scenery combined with remarkable wildlife sightings makes this one of the highlights of the safari. Later in the afternoon, ascend from the crater and begin the journey back to Arusha, marking the end of your incredible Tanzania safari.
