On Kilimanjaro, the Machame route, commonly known as the “Whiskey” route, is the most popular. Machame’s allure lies in its natural beauty. The Machame route, starting at Machame Gate, approaches Kilimanjaro from the south, passing through rainforests to Shira Plateau.
