The woodland partridge, which resembles the Asian Genus, is one of the four bird species found in the Udzungwa Park. The park is home to six different primate species. It is home to the world’s only two species of primates, the Iringa crimson Colubus and the Sanje Crested Mangabe. It also boasts about 2000 plant species that may be found in and around the park on a regular basis. The great level of biodiversity of birds and animals in Udzungwa Park is well known.

Hiking: You can go on a 20-minute walk or a 3-day trip. You can go on a hike to Sanje Falls, which is one of the most well-known in the area.
Tradition Ngoma Drumming At The Camp: At Hondo Hondo, you can meet a small group of farmers who will perform a traditional ‘Ngoma’ on request. This is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure near a major campsite.
Njokamoni Waterfalls Trail: Njokamoni has numerous lovely viewpoints and is perfect for lounging and swimming.
The park is open all year. The best time to visit is between June and October when the weather is dry.
