The wildebeest give birth to 8,000 babies each day during the calving season in February. The Camp is located in Northern Serengeti from late May to October. The camp is adjacent to the Mara River, making numerous river crossing locations in the region simple to reach. The wildebeest migration is crossing the Mara River back and forth from Tanzania to Kenya during this time of year. With crocodiles, hippos, and big cats strewn throughout, river crossings are common.
