,Hippo Trails Camp offers tent camping in big classic-style tents with hot water on demand and flush toilets. The tents, which are elevated on wood platforms, are stylishly furnished with king or twin beds, a writing desk, baggage racks, and a sitting area with chairs and a coffee table.

The site, which is close to the Retima Hippo Pool, is an excellent starting place for animal watching in the northern and central Serengeti. Spend the day sightseeing after breakfast, or get an early start and leave with breakfast, returning to camp for lunch and an afternoon nap.

Beautiful views of the river may be seen from the camp’s location. There’s plenty of space to relax in the lounge tent, which also has free Wi-Fi. The dining tent, which also has a complete bar, serves meals.
