The wildebeest give birth to 8,000 babies each day during the calving season in February. The Camp is located in Northern Serengeti from late May to October. The camp is adjacent to the Mara River, making numerous river crossing locations in the region simple to reach. The wildebeest migration is crossing the Mara River back and forth from Tanzania to Kenya during this time of year. With crocodiles, hippos, and big cats strewn throughout, river crossings are common.

Nyikani Migration Camp Activities

There are 12 tents available in king, twin, triple, and family configurations.

,The Nyikani migration camps, which are located in the Serengeti environment, relocate twice a year to guarantee that its visitors are in prime viewing position for the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebra. The migratory travels in and out of the Ndutu region from December to March. Ndutu is located immediately south of Serengeti National Park in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Nyikani migration camp is conveniently located near great wildlife watching sites between Lakes Ndutu and Masek. Ndutu is home to cheetah, lion, giraffe, and hundreds of bird species, in addition to the almost two million wildebeest and zebra that pass through the area each year.
