Machame Camp is the first overnight campsite on the Machame Route, located at approximately 2,835 metres (9,301 ft) above sea level. After trekking through the beautiful montane rainforest, trekkers arrive at the camp surrounded by dense vegetation and the sounds of Kilimanjaro’s forest.
