3-Day Safari from Zanzibar

Early in the morning, transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your scheduled domestic flight to Arusha Airport. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by your private safari guide and begin your journey to Tarangire National Park.

Famous for its enormous elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and beautiful savannah landscapes, Tarangire offers an excellent introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife. Enjoy a game drive through the park, exploring different wildlife areas along the Tarangire River, where elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest, and numerous bird species can often be spotted.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later, drive to your accommodation in the Karatu area for dinner and relaxation.

After an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend approximately 600 metres into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable wildlife safari. Explore the crater’s beautiful grasslands, forests, freshwater pools, and Lake Magadi while searching for its remarkable wildlife. The area is home to elephants, lions, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, and the endangered black rhinoceros. With its exceptional concentration of wildlife, the crater offers some of the best opportunities for game viewing in Tanzania. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site inside the crater before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later, ascend the crater walls and return to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and relaxation.

After breakfast, check out and depart for Lake Manyara National Park for your final safari adventure. This beautiful park is known for its groundwater forest, large troops of baboons, diverse birdlife, and famous tree-climbing lions. During your game drive, explore its varied habitats while searching for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, and other wildlife. Depending on the season, you may also spot flamingos and other water birds along the lake. Enjoy a picnic lunch during your safari before exiting the park and driving towards Arusha Airport. Upon arrival, check in for your scheduled domestic flight back to Zanzibar, marking the end of your memorable three-day Tanzania safari.
