Arrival in Arusha & Relaxation

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your professional Tanzania Classic Tours safari guide and transferred in a private luxury vehicle to Arusha. After check-in, the day is dedicated to relaxation and recovery from international travel. You may enjoy the hotel’s landscaped gardens, spa facilities, or simply unwind with views of Mount Meru. In the evening, savor a refined dinner as your guide briefs you on the journey ahead

Tarangire National Park

After a leisurely breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, a landscape defined by sweeping savannahs, towering baobab trees, and the life-giving Tarangire River. Enjoy an extensive game drive, encountering large elephant families, lions, giraffes, wildebeest, and an impressive diversity of birdlife. A picnic or lodge style lunch is enjoyed within the park before continuing toward the Ngorongoro Highlands, arriving in time for sunset views and a tranquil evening.

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater and descend into the crater for a half-day game drive. This natural wonder offers one of the best wildlife viewing opportunities in Africa, with a high concentration of animals in a relatively small area. With your Tanzania Classic Tours professional safari guide, explore the crater floor where you may spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, and the rare black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch near a hippo pool before ascending and returning to your lodge for relaxation in the evening.

Lake Manyara National Park and Flight back to Zanzibar

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive. This park is known for its lush groundwater forest, diverse birdlife, and tree-climbing lions. You may also see elephants, monkeys, and flamingos along the lake shore. After a picnic lunch, drive back to Kilimanjaro airport for your evening flight back to Zanzibar, marking the end of your short but rewarding safari.
