Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Famous for its ancient baobab trees and large elephant populations, Tarangire offers excellent opportunities to observe wildlife in a beautiful natural setting. Spend the day exploring the park’s diverse habitats while searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, antelopes, and numerous bird species. The Tarangire River attracts wildlife throughout the year, creating outstanding game-viewing opportunities. In the late afternoon, leave the park and drive to Karatu where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Day 2

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart Karatu and travel through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands toward the legendary Serengeti National Park. Enjoy breathtaking landscapes and wildlife sightings along the route as you enter one of Africa’s most celebrated safari destinations. Upon arrival in Central Serengeti, begin an afternoon game drive through the vast plains in search of lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, and large herds of wildebeests and zebras. As the day comes to an end, continue to your tented camp and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the African wilderness.

Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Spend the entire day exploring the wildlife-rich landscapes of Central Serengeti. This region is home to abundant resident wildlife and offers excellent opportunities to observe predators and herbivores throughout the year. Your guide will take you to the best wildlife-viewing areas while sharing insights about the Serengeti ecosystem. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush and continue searching for lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, leopards, buffaloes, and many other fascinating species. The endless plains and incredible wildlife make this one of the highlights of the safari.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands

After an early morning game drive and breakfast, enjoy your final wildlife sightings in the Serengeti before departing for the beautiful Ngorongoro Highlands. Along the way, continue spotting wildlife while admiring the spectacular scenery of northern Tanzania. Arrive at your tented camp in the Ngorongoro area during the afternoon. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing and enjoying the fresh highland air, beautiful views, and peaceful surroundings before your crater safari the following day.

Ngorongoro Crater- Departure

After an early breakfast, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site supports one of Africa’s highest concentrations of wildlife and offers exceptional opportunities to spot the Big Five. Explore the crater floor while searching for lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, zebras, wildebeests, and the endangered black rhino. After a picnic lunch surrounded by breathtaking scenery, ascend the crater and begin the drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzania Tented Camp Safari.
