Elewana’s Serengeti Pioneer Camp is well located in South Central Serengeti, Tanzania (inside the Moru Kopjes area) to provide exceptional access to the yearly migration and the ‘Big 5′ with sweeping vistas across Moru Kopjes, Lake Magadi, and the endless grasslands. Elewana Collection’s camps and lodges each have their own distinct look and feel. This practice is carried on the Serengeti Pioneer Camp. Serengeti Pioneer Camp’s ‘zero footprints’ and intimate contact with nature combine to produce an undeniably different and totally special offering, paying homage to the mobile camps of the 1930s, a period when an African safari was really a trip into the unknown. The tent interiors, which consist of twelve tented rooms with en-suite facilities such as a flushing toilet, vanity sink, and showers, are meant to recall the best of a long-gone but surely not forgotten past.
