Early in the morning, pick up from DSM city center and go south of Dar es Salaam via the Tanzania / Zambia Highway. Mikumi National Park game drive with picnic lunch. Return to Dar es Salaam City in the late afternoon. After 2000 hours, arrive in Dar es Salaam. Mikumi National Park is a very popular park in Tanzania, covering 3,230 square kilometers. Elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, elands, greater Kudu, wildebeest, roan, and sable antelope are all found in the park. Tree-climbing lions (which are plentiful), leopards, wild hunting dogs, and black-backed jackals are among the predators. There are over 300 bird species documented here, including Eurasian migrants like the red-billed oxpecker, marabou stork, and lilac-breasted roller.
