Flight to Northern Serengeti

Early morning transfer from your hotel in Zanzibar to the airport for your scheduled bush flight into the Northern Serengeti region of Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, meet your private guide and begin an immediate game drive along the Mara River ecosystem. You will start tracking migration herds as they gather near the riverbanks, with chances to see crocodiles, lions, hyenas, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras preparing for crossings. A picnic lunch will be served during the game drive before continuing with afternoon wildlife viewing. Dinner and overnight at camp in the wilderness.

Full Day in Northern Serengeti

Spend a full day exploring the Northern Serengeti in search of migration movement and river crossing activity. Morning and afternoon game drives focus on key crossing points along the Mara River. If conditions are right, you may witness the dramatic Mara River crossing, where thousands of wildebeest and zebras attempt to cross while facing strong currents and crocodile attacks. Even when crossings are not active, the area remains rich with predators, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and vast herds of plains game. A picnic lunch will be served in the bush before continuing with afternoon game drives until sunset.

Drive to Central Serengeti

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in the Northern Serengeti, then begin your road transfer to Central Serengeti with en-route game viewing. This scenic drive offers continuous wildlife sightings as you move through different ecosystems. Expect to see lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and antelope species along the way. Arrive in Central Serengeti in the afternoon and continue with a short game drive before heading to camp for dinner and relaxation.

Full Day in Central Serengeti

Spend a full day exploring the wildlife-rich plains of Central Serengeti National Park. This region is known for its high predator density and year-round game viewing. Expect sightings of lion prides, leopards resting in trees, cheetahs scanning the plains, elephants moving in herds, hippos in pools, and crocodiles near water sources, alongside large populations of zebras and wildebeest. A picnic lunch will be served during the game drive before continuing with relaxed afternoon wildlife viewing until sunset.
