Flight to Northern Serengeti

Early morning transfer from your hotel in Zanzibar to the airport for your scheduled bush flight into Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival at the airstrip, your safari guide will meet you and begin an immediate game drive across the Serengeti plains. You will start searching for migration herds of wildebeest and zebras, along with predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas following the movement of the herds. A picnic lunch will be served during the game drive before continuing with afternoon wildlife viewing. In the evening, drive to your camp for dinner, relaxation, and overnight stay in the wilderness.

Full Day in Northern Serengeti

Spend a full day exploring different areas of the Serengeti ecosystem in search of the Great Migration movement. Morning and afternoon game drives allow maximum opportunity to track herds and predator action. Depending on the season, you may witness large river crossings (Grumeti or Mara River), dramatic predator chases, and massive herds stretching across the horizon. Wildlife commonly seen includes lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and countless plains game. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park before continuing with afternoon game viewing until sunset.

Another Full Day in Northern Serengeti

Another full day is dedicated to following the migration herds across the Serengeti plains. Your guide will position you in key areas depending on wildlife movement and seasonal patterns. Expect continuous action including lion prides hunting, cheetahs chasing fast-moving zebras, hyenas scavenging, and crocodiles waiting at river points. The vast open plains also provide excellent photography opportunities during sunrise and sunset. A picnic lunch will be served during the game drive before continuing with relaxed afternoon exploration.

Morning Game Drive and Flight Back to Zanzibar/ Arusha

After an early breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, capturing last wildlife moments and sunrise views over the plains. Later, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your beach hotel, marking the end of your migration safari adventure.
