Arrival and Relaxation

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), A Tanzania Classic Tours driver-guide will be waiting to welcome you, holding a sign welcome board with your name for easy identification. You’ll be greeted with a warm smile, assisted with your luggage, and escorted to your private transfer vehicle. From there, you’ll enjoy a comfortable drive to Arusha city, where your safari adventure begins. That evening, you will meet your safari guide who will brief you on your upcoming safari.

Tarangire national park

After breakfast, you drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania most scenic wildlife parks known for its ancient baobab trees, rolling savannahs, and impressive elephant population. The Tarangire River, which flows year-round, attracts large numbers of wildlife especially during the dry season. Enjoy a full-day game drive through the park while spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, warthogs, and a wide variety of bird species. The park is also famous for its breathtaking landscapes dotted with giant baobab trees and seasonal swamps.

After breakfast, you continue exploring Tarangire National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. This additional day allows deeper exploration of the park’s diverse habitats and increased chances of spotting predators such as lions and leopards. You will enjoy picnic lunch inside the park before continuing with wildlife viewing along the Tarangire River ecosystem where elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and migratory birds gather, then you depart from Tarangire national park and drive toward the lush highlands at Karatu.

After breakfast, you drive toward the legendary Serengeti National Park via the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the journey, enjoy spectacular landscapes, Maasai villages, and panoramic views of the endless plains that inspired the park’s name, “Siringit,” meaning endless land, you arrive in midday and you will gate hot lunch in gate before explore afternoon game drive. The Serengeti is world-famous for its abundant wildlife and the Great Migration involving millions of wildebeests and zebras.
