Terms and Conditions
1. Booking and Contracts All bookings and contracts are presumed to be made in Arusha, Tanzania, and are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Tanzania Classic Tours reserves the right to refuse any booking without providing a reason.
2. Payment and Deposit
- A deposit of 30% of the total trip cost is required to confirm a booking. This deposit will be deducted from the total amount due.
- Full payment must be made at least 30 days before the tour begins unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- All bank and transaction fees are the responsibility of the client or agent.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellations made 60 days or more before the tour start date are eligible for a full refund minus transaction fees.
- Cancellations made between 30 and 59 days before the tour start date are subject to a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 30 days before the tour start date are non-refundable.
- No refunds will be issued for missed activities due to client delays or personal reasons.
4. Travel Documents and Insurance
- Clients are responsible for ensuring they possess all necessary documentation for travel to Tanzania, including passports, visas, and vaccination certificates.
- Tanzania Classic Tours is not liable for any penalties resulting from incomplete or incorrect documentation prior to the tour's commencement.
- It is strongly recommended that clients obtain travel insurance covering trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and personal belongings.
5. Health and Safety
- Clients must inform Tanzania Classic Tours of any pre-existing medical conditions, dietary restrictions, or special requirements before the tour begins.
- The company reserves the right to refuse participation to any client who is deemed unfit for the tour due to health or safety concerns.
6. Tour Itineraries and Changes
- While Tanzania Classic Tours strives to adhere to the planned itinerary, circumstances such as weather conditions, government regulations, and unforeseen events may require changes.
- The company reserves the right to make necessary modifications to ensure the safety and satisfaction of clients.
7. Liability and Responsibility
- Tanzania Classic Tours is not responsible for any loss, injury, accident, or damage to personal property during the tour.
- The company will not be held liable for any additional costs incurred due to flight delays, missed connections, or force majeure events.
- Clients participate in tours at their own risk and must adhere to safety guidelines provided by guides and staff.
8. Marketing and Media Consent
- Tanzania Classic Tours reserves the right to use any photographs or videos taken during tours for marketing and advertising purposes.
- Clients consent to such use and grant the company copyright over these materials unless they explicitly request otherwise in writing before the tour starts.
