Why visit Ruaha:

Ruaha National Park offers great dry season animal viewing, including elephants, hippos, lions, and wild dogs, as well as good birding and mountainous terrain.

Best time to visit Ruaha National Park:

The driest months are June through November, and this is when it’s easiest to observe animals along the riverbeds. Some sections become inaccessible during the wet season, and wildlife is tough to spot, but verdant vistas, lavender-colored flowers, and excellent birdwatching make up for it.
