The Serengeti National Park has a diverse range of animals, including a million wildebeests migrating onto the Serengeti Plains in search of new pasture. You’ll have to go in February to see more than 8000 wildebeest calves being born every day.
The endless plains of the Serengeti grasslands are home to around 500 different bird species. The secretary birds, which may wander up to 20 kilometers in pursuit of vipers, cobras, and other snakes, can be seen here. There are also African Fish Eagles, White-backed vultures, Lesser Flamingos, Ostriches, and a variety of other birds.

Game Drives: With its wealth of animals, including the movement of a million wildebeests and the majority of carnivores, notably lions, the Serengeti National Park makes for a fantastic game drive. Cheetahs, Leopards, Hyenas, and Jackals are among the other creatures.

December to July is the ideal time to witness the wildebeest migration from Serengeti National Park to Maasai Mara National Reserve, and June to October is the best time to watch the predators.
By Air: The nearest airport to Serengeti National Park is Kilimanjaro International Airport. Once you have checked out of the airport, you will be able to take Taxis or Airport Shuttles to Arusha, which is 45 kilometers away.
By Road: The Serengeti is 335 kilometers from Arusha and may be reached by Safari buses, which will provide a highly gratifying experience for those interested in sightseeing.
